KARIMPEX, s.r.o. was established as solely business organization in 1991. The company was transformed
in a joint-stock company with the headquarters at 320 Slezská, Orlová - Poruba as of December 10, 1999.
KARIMPEX, a.s. consisted of two main branches:
- Engineering production division - engineering activity
- Fuels and lubricants trade division - field of petrochemical products trade
The company commenced to carry out engineering production in former premises No. 3 of Bastro a.s. in
Orlová - Poruba, current domicile of the company, in 1996.
KARIMPEX, a.s. reconstructed the premises
known for engineering and foundry production already in the beginning of the last century completely and
provided them with new welding and burning equipment and also with a new fleet of machine tools.
In 1994,
KARIMPEX, a.s. commenced operation in storage premises of Důl ČSA (ČSA Mine) in Karviná from where
it supplied fuels and lubricants to its customers till 2003 when the company purchased storage premises in
Havířov - Šumbark, in M. Pujmanové street 1/1212.
Between 1993 and 1999, the company progressively commissioned six petrol stations that were either newly constructed
or purchased, namely in Horní Suchá, in Hrádek ve Slezsku, Březová, Moravská Ostrava, Frýdek - Místek and Orlová.
KARIMPEX, a.s. supplies fuels and lubricants in our petrol stations as well as in petrol stations of our clients and to
our customers who purchase oils and other products from our range using own tank trucks.
During its existence,
KARIMPEX, a.s. has become a recognized supplier of a number of machinery units and components
for mining and other companies throughout our region.
